Continue the war on Earth in the fighter-style video game Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals. Released in 1999, this action game continues the story line between the Maximals and Predacons. Fight as all-time favorite warriors, such as Optimus Prime or Megatron, to defeat the enemies in this versus fighting game. Players can fight enemies in three different modes: Beast Mode, Vehicle Mode, and Robot Mode. Each play mode has benefits and drawbacks, so it's up to you to decide. With a variety of mini-games throughout the main storyline, fun super-attacks, and the ability to play multiplayer (two-player), this classic Nintendo 64 game is fun for all.

Mediocre game, great fan service
Beast Wars Transmetals is not a particularl...y well-designed game. It is likely that part of this assessment is because of the now-primitive hardware on which it runs. Still, the implementation of the various robotic transformations is interesting and well-done, and the game is a decent way to waste time with everyone's favorite transforming animals. This game is impressive as part of a Beast Wars collection, and features many of the show's voice actors. That's why I bought it, anyway :)

Good Old School Fun with Some Favorite Beast Characters
It is just good old ...fun. The kids mode will make you laugh if you play in it. It can be a bit challenging at times too. Makes it great that the actual character voice actors do the voices in this too. YESSSSS!

besides its obnoxiously long name, transformers: beast wars tra...nsmetals is not a very good fighter at all. the transformations are there but don't provide much of a use. moreover the fighting mechanics are clunky and sound effects are equally unimpressive.

A great game to get ju...st to have. It's simplistic and fun. The voice overs are a nice touch that can get repetative. If you love Beast Wars, you'll love this game!
