Another decent book from Chudley and Greeno. The construction details are quite general and basic which is not a criticism. This is ideal for anyone taking a construction led course in order to explain first principles. If I am being overly critical some of the construction details are quite dated but that is to be expected as it is an older publication, For anyone taking a HNC/HND or Degree course in Construction Technology or similar, this book would prove a good buy. If you can pick up a cheap copy by all means do. Chudley seems to be the bible for anyone taking these courses as so much of the curriculum is based around it however The Building Handbook by Chudely is more suitable to HNC/HND students. I have worked as an Architectural Technician for 20 years and have used this book in study. I would have no problem recommending it to anyone.Read full review
