General woodworker but now specialising in spoons and natural finish toys. Have always used Olive oil but in some instances, over time and depending on the wood - mould traces appear. Not so with this product. Safe for food and teething children and leaves a thicker and thus smoother almost velvet feeling finish. Does take a while to reach saturation point but worth the wait. A warm environment helps absorption- radiator set to low. Buy again ? Certainly !

Bought to use on cutting boards. It seems readily absorbed into most woods without leaving a sticky residue and seems to protect against absorbtion of staining food products ie Pepperoni pizza red oil stains etc. Postage is quite expensive but probably due to the weight. Seems best added sparingly and rubbed across the board uniformly.

Although it is a clear solution, the oil does actually darken as a stain, but not to much. Easy to put on, it is odourless, which was perfect for out breadbin and looks great! Without sanding our old wooden dining table, the heat rings from drinks magically disappeared, and the table has come alive again!

Bought this product to treat some new chopping boards we’ve recently bought after reading internet advice on doing this, I’ve got to say that the product I bought is ultra simple to use and does a fantastic job in preserving the surface of the new boards.....highly recommended.

Used on old utensils to revive them and did a good job bring the wood back to life. Water balls up nicely on the surface but I can see in order to keep them looking nice and protected they will need recoating quite regularly.
