    Worth buying but needs improving.

    The silver lion in the centre of the badge looks like it is made from very thin silver paper with the molded lumps in the plastic underneath showing through the thin material. The shiny black surround looks good though. The badge is a perfect fit in the lock body and is easy to fit (self-adhesive). The appearance from a distance is acceptable but the imperfections are apparent when viewing close up. It is definitely worth buying as an alternative to buying a new rear boot lock at £150 +. I would recommend that the manufacturer either smooths out the underlying plastic surface or uses a thicker silver emblem or both. I would gladly pay double for an improved-quality product.

    Beware picture misleads - read the full description, disappointed.

    Dissapointed that this is not an original badge but a thin 3m flimsy copy you have to stick on - if I had known that I would not have bought the so called badge. The picture really misleads you, true it looks something like the real thing but is not the real thing. Rather like you buying a cheap poor cornish pasty after eating a nice fresh Ginsters Cornish pasty. So if you want it to look like something akin to a cornish pasty fine, but for me and my ten quid I expected a real proper pasty - not a flimsy stick on plastic boot badge - result not a happy bunny. It wasn't worth the experience. I am now wondering how long before the good old british weather gets to it, and I slam the boot lid in the rain or frost and it falls off, leaving me to have to go and buy the proper one. ...

    Ok, could be better.

    Even though it has a metallic backing to it, any small little imperfection or moulding that was originally on the boot handle will push through and be visible through the backing. Ideally you need a plastic backing to stick to the boot first, then attach this. The seller should provide something like this to be honest. I'll probably have to create something and buy it again at some point.

    Nice little improvement

    Really improved the look of the back end of my car. The previous boot badge was missing and there was just old brown glue showing. The replacement badge gave a nice little lift to the look of the car.
