    Defeat the greys!

    To fit, first remove glove box, then lower trim piece. Bribe a small child to remove the Access cover, note the orientation. Simply pull out the grey stiff insert at 84k miles that the dealer assuredly changed at 20k and fit in reverse order. Remember to take the small child back to its parent for legal reasons. Enjoy a still no working AC but at least you have dust and pollen free cabin for the rear seat rug rats to make a mess in.
