I suspect bad weather in Scotland delayed this in that case couldn't be helped. Battery very low price and looks extremely good quality and was very nicely packed so very pleased with it. Enquired about another battery that was listed by seller with two battery types same listing but they didn't reply so I can look elsewhere for that, no problem. Thanks anyway.

    All that glitters is not gold

    I bought this battery for a little diesel van, it's the third cheap battery I've bought in recent months for different vehicles. It (and it's box) was covered in words like "German Company" but looking closely I saw this was just a trade mark. As it seemed quite a bit lighter than the similar sized battery it was replacing I though it might be interesting to test the claimed capacity of 62AHr at the 20Hr rate being a life long electronics engineer. It was not fully charged so I topped it up on a calibrated smart charger then connected it to my discharge tester set at a 3A discharge current (62A/Hr/20Hr). After about 10 Hr the terminal voltage had dropped to 11.6V and the tester ended the test reporting a capacity of only 33AHr. This was a bit disappointing, I hadn't expected anything like ...

    Battery

    I bought this battery as a replacement for the existing battery with the same number for my classic car. The previous battery was 5+ years old. This battery has lasted 11 months. Loses charge In a week. The car has only covered 500 miles in this time. They are cheap for a reason!
