    Good aftermarket part

    Given the genuine VAG PCV gives up the ghost frequently, I wasn't too concerned buying an aftermarket replacement. The fit is good and it appears to be based on the latest revision version of the valve supplied by the main dealer. Took me 20 minutes to fit and my fuel consumption has increased by 5 mpg. I can't comment on the longevity of the item but the quality seems fine at face value.

    PCV Valve replacement

    A very good quality item well made and a perfect fit. The car now drives like new the rough idle, poor fuel economy issues are now resolved and the power is back to where it should be. The dreaded check engine light has not reappeared after 300 miles of driving.

    Better of with the genuine part

    Pcv would get stuck open causing the car to have a delay in it rev range (in other word holds the revs when of the throttle. Fitted a genuine vw part and the problem was resolved.
