The item came as described, freshly packaged & unopened. Arrived within 2 days of ordering. So overly I was satisfied & quite happy to put it use for my new mounted monitor arm. Unfortunately when trying to remove my stand from my iMac, it wouldn't budge. I contacted Apple directly to find out if they could remove and install the adapter for me. After giving them the model & serial number off my computer they informed me the stand is not removable for my model. That was the only let down :-(
