    SONY CCD TRV 57 XR HI8mm Video Recorder Player VCR

    I had a Sony 8mm as my first video camera and had many 8mm tapes that needed to be transferred to DVD because of limited life of the 8mm tape. My Sony 8mm lasted many years and had heard that the Sony TRV 57 XR 8mm was also a well made camera.It is easy for a layman to use in that the controls and switches (buttons for play pause and VCR operation )are logically placed easy to use and very user friendly.It is also durable and I have felt very comfortable using it filming in many surroundings.The low light feature is an added bonus and I had shot many low light scenes with beautiful results. Finally it is perfect for transferring 8mm to DVD. The SONY is an excellent all around ,practical, durable ,well made fun camera to use and own. Written by Karl Lukas

    Sony Handycam CCD TRV37E

    I bought this product because the one my granddaughter had malfunctioned and would no eject the cassette. This was an exact replacement for the original camera. The camera is one of the most sophisticated had helds on the market and has enough capabilities to meet the requirements of any owner.
