I have a Sony DSC-W100 now & wanted one with better options, so I bought this camera to replace it. This one has a lot of good qualities, but the thing that I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a view finder and a lot of the shots I take are outdoors and you cannot see the shot because of the glare,so you can't see when you are wating for a specific shot. It also doesn't allow you to make a decision on if you are taking a portrait or outdoor scene. The camera does it automatically. Otherwise it is great if you don't want these options, but it doesn't do what I need it to do for me.

This was a Christmas present to my wife. She has looked forward to a camera that would allow her to directly upload photos to a photo-sharing website. The camera is certainly capable on both videos and stills, but she has had some inexplicable blurred photos, despite having the auto-focus on. I have tried it, and, indeed, there have been at least one-out-of-five that have not been crisp and clear. And, on the matter of uploading to Flickr--which is where we are storing our shared photos--it seems that Flickr doesn't yet have the software that allows a direct upload to its site. The camera is compact and easy to use, but these two problems make me wish I'd bought a different camera for her. After all, if the woman in your life isn't pleased, it's straight to the doghouse. Just call me "Fido."Read full review

New camera as advertised but comes with no manual whatsoever and in downloading the firmware to the computer, the memory that came with the product was insufficient to upload Samsung's upgrade. HUH! Nowhere in the description given was any attention made to the storage capacity within. Obviously the downloadable PDF will give upgrade suggestions but I am disappointed. Certainly would not be capable of taking the video it is capable of. As for the quality of the picture, I see no improvement over my old Canon APowerShot 530, if anything the color resolution was poorer.

The picture quality is average- only slightly better than the 8 mp camera on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It was also hard to get pictures in macro or low lighting without going to program mode and messing with a lot of settings...however, I didn't play with it long. I immediately put it up on ebay and kept a different camera. The wifi features are easy to use and really cool. You can upload directly to facebook and instagram, send pics to your phone via nfc, email photos, etc. It does have a lot of features for a camera under $100.
Decent little camera, but has a couple of issues. Screen is advertised as 3 inch but really is about 2.7 inches, important issue if screen size matters. Also delays a little when taking a photo so using it for quick pics, better for pictures which are set up, instead of candid.
