Does just what it said
I've only had this battery for a very short time. It was fun opening my Garmin but I found that carefully sanding down popsicle sticks to fit the pry area on the casing and then carefully working my way around I was able to open my case without damage. This replacement battery is a little smaller than the factory one but I was able to re-use some of the double tape and I put a drop of RTV silicone on it to ensure it stayed put in the case. So far so good. I charged it in about an hour or so and have checked it once after a few days of sitting and it seems to be holding the charge. Excellent value and perfect fit.
The replacement battery fit perfectly. Note that you will need a small torx screwdriver to remove the back cover. Also note the battery connection simply pushes in from the top. I was able to separate the two halfs of the case with my fingernails without issue - I don't see the need for a pry tool. Also note the double sided tape holding the original battery was quite strong - a minute with a blow dryer help release it.The replacement battery fit perfectly.
