The best I have ever used
I have used many trolley jacks over the years but this one beats them all, it is very sturdy and well built, has a low cradle, so it can get under the car easily, fast easy lift, it lifts my 1961 Cadillac with ease. The jack is on the heavy side, but that is due to it's strong construction. I like the simple release mechanism. I recently bought this jack to replace an older different make that i have. After reading the reviews i decided to go ahead and buy one. I must say that i seem to be in the minority and don't consider this to be of good value or good quality, The handle mechanism has a lot of play, the jacking pad has a lot of free play, it has a lot of weld splatters over it, and lastly it is smaller than i thought it would be. Not as good as my old jack. On the plus side it does at least jack up the vehicle ok. I recently bought this jack to replace an older different make that i have. The jack needs lots of grease on the cogs and handle to work correctly and the adjustment when using the handle is not fine enough compared to other jacks making it a bit dangerous to use when releasing. Hoping this will improve with use. [A bit scary]. The jack is also a bit on the high side compared to other jacks and not suitable for cars like Minis and MGs which it was bought for. My mistake. The jack is well made. Poor quality release mechanism
Although it’s the ideal size , I am afraid it’s release mechanism is poorly made . It’s like there is a bush missing and it feels cheap the handle does not engage with the release drive unless you push it hard down .. there are better cheaper jacks out there , ie : sgs
