Too tight a space
Excellent all round wheel clamp. Beware of the size of your tyre to the inner wheel arch. The Jeep tyres are 215mmx 17" and that is the maximum fit for the clamp and it fits very tightly but only 1 piece at a time. Trying to fit the round plate over the wheel nuts means that the open legged V shaped part needs to be move out a little as the circle with its lug requires to be placed behind the V shape and there is just not enough space. It is far too tight. I then tried sliding the silver bar into the V shaped legs without the plate and the bar is too long that it hits the outer wheelarch and will not insert into the 2 locking lugs. So the only thing that remained was to swap this complete wheel clamp onto the trailer with smaller wheels and it fitted first time. The trailers SAS wheel ... Excellent all round wheel clamp. On the box it says it is suitable for tyres upto 215 width and can be fitted without removing wheeltrim. Tried fitting mine today and only way to make it fit Was removing wheeltrim which is inconveniant on a cold dark night
