Really solid tools built to last
Having scoured the web for a durable set of trim tools I needed some that were versatile, lightweight, hard wearing and usable. Some positive reviews led me to the powertec trim tools. I was a little sceptical about their apparent durability but decided to purchase them as the nearest equivalent was twice the price and halfords offering was expensive and didn't have such raving reviews. The roll they come in is really stiff and you can feel that it will last a long time. Each tool (and their are a lot of them) feel solid in your hand. The plastic ends are hard and yet will fit into all the nooks and crannies of the panels you are removing. I have used them to; remove radios, dash panels, interior door trim, tyres on my bike and garden tractor and the back of a Nokia phone. All ... I can't really find a downside, I suppose you could ask for finer tools for very small items but theses are built to last and work on big chunky man-size things, not girlie stuff. I would not hesitate to recommend them over any other plastic trim tool.
