    Ideal to have with you out in the country, if you need to check a map or examine a plant or insect and can also be used to light a fire if it is sunny and your lighter has no flint or gas.

    Magnifying glass for assisted reading.

    I use the magnifying glass as an aid to reading as I have a visual impairment. The use of this product reduces the stress on my focusing while bringing text up to the equivalent of font 14 - 16. The glass folds away neatly into its case on a swivel . The product could be improved by the use of dust resistant or grease resistant coating.as I frequently require to clean the glass with lens cleaner to stop smudges. I have purchased similar products with a price variation from £3.50 - £10.00 depending on source.

    Great for the budding naturalist

    This magnifyer is very convenient to use. It fits snugly in your pocket and is easily carried thanks to its light weight. The cover keeps the glass clean and helps prevent scratching. Not sure how long it would cope with sustained and continued punishment but as a cheap and cheerful aid to getting the kids involved with natural history I've yet to find anything better - especially at the price.
