This was to replace a Guild drill I have had for about 5 years. It has been heavily used, taking on jobs that should really have been done with a big mains drill, and handling everything. As it is finally getting to the end of its life I bought this one as a replacement and I am very pleased with it

My used (but fully tested) example is of very little use as the battery holds only enough charge for a minute or so of very light use. I can't use it as a hammer drill etc. It only really works as a screwdriver, except that I don't need an electric screwdriver. I wanted a drill £31 down the drain basically.

This drill was a used item but came in a box & seems just like new , it seems to work well with a switch to make it hammer mode or just drill mode , it didn't come with instructions but easy to operate, very good for the price!

I have used Guild drills for a long time ,they have never let me down. Replacement batteries are a reasonable price. My only gripe is they should supply two batteries with there drill kits
