    Dapol Green Water Tower

    This is a little tricky to assemble, particularly in regards to the cross struts. However the end result is very satisfying. I used an airbrush to paint it a grotty railways green. It does need to be painted. Otherwise it comes in a dull plastic grey. It will look eye catching on my layout. The design was previously owned by Airfix and has been available for about 50 years.

    Very nice model

    Instructions are fine. Pieces fit together very well. I would have liked some guidance on which colours to use especially with regard to the different regional colour schemes in use at the time that this structure would have been erected for real. Overall though - very good.

    Water tower

    Make no mistake this is an old kit, but if you take the time and have the right modelling tools you can make this a pretty good addition to your layout. The leg supports are fiddly, but again with the right modelling tools it is not too bad. We bought two and are well happy,
