The brief was a budget jigsaw primarily for rough cutting ie not fine work. I saw this one at a new price below some secondhand. I have a 4kg erbauer sds drill which has proved excellent. So i bought the brand. Its easy to use very light...240v which is what i wanted ..no transformer needdd. It cuts really well annd accurately. I dont think it will take the knocks my other hd jigsaws get but for what i wanted its great. It has a good feelingOnly complaint is the carry case too small as its a fiddle to get all the cable back in. But for £35 delivered i am very happy.

Made in China. Adjustable cut angle slips when in use. I wish the speed control was built into the on/off switch. Footplate can snag on wood. Overall not bad.

This is the third Erbauer power tool I have purchased and I find them excellent quality and value for money. This is a refurbished jigsaw although you wouldn’t think it other than a little wear on the box. Compared with my basic Black and Decker one it knocks spots off it . I’m sure it will outlast me and will probable gives years of wear to on of my sons.

As soon as I saw it (excuse the pun) it looks the business. Soft grip with very little vibration whilst in use, and with the quick blade change mechanism its a doddle to use. I was thinking of buying a more expensive brand and glad now that I did not. Very worth while purchase.
