This is a great slasher from the 90s. Interesting plot with lots of fun twists & turns. Great cast of actors including Jared Leto (Fight Club), Tara Reid (American Pie) & Rebecca Gayheart (Scream 2, Jawbreaker). It's a great watch and holds up very well!

Everybody's heard of them, yet they have no traceable source. They're Urban Legends, contemporary tall-tales that emerge from the underground and take on colourful lives of their own. When a series of strange deaths occur on the campus of Pendleton College, student Natalie (Alicia Witt) begins to suspect that there is a bizarre link, someone is making urban legends a sinister reality. Her classmates, loyal Brenda (Rebecca Gayheart), ambitious journalist major Paul (Jared Leto) and class joker Damon (Joshua Jackson) insist the deaths are just coincidences despite the extraordinary circumstances. But when Natalie gets too close to discovering the killer's demented desire to re-create the ultimate urban legend, she realises that she could be the next victim...
One of a glut of teen-centred horror films made at the time, this film is typical of the genre. A good-looking young cast (now all very familiar), a stylised premise and wafer-thin story...and the end result is still a very entertaining movie. Set in a New England college, an unknown assailant is killing off students - deaths linked by their similarity to well known 'urban legends'. Although the 'jumpy' scenes are a little telegraphed, the killer's identity is not as obvious as with a lot of similar films. Plus this does have Tara Reid in boots and a lovely little white dress - hurrah! This film is presented in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen and features 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Special features include a filmmaker's commentary, trailer and behind the scenes featurette.
When an attack on student on Campus University, it starts a wave of urban legends type attacks on the students in the university, but who is doing this to the students on the Campus, is a misty to the students. A well made who done it movie, with gory horror and tense drama; with very good acting from the cast of this movie. 9.9/10 Movie.
I love this film. Urban Legends have always interested me and it was great to finally see some of the best on the big screen. The first sequel to this is also very good but the third is a waste of time (a bit like the I Know What You Did Last Summer trilogy)
