The best universal hand guards I seen / used and fitted. They are not perfect but miles better than any other option I've seen.they are quite expensive but are really well made.

Could not tighten up on bars, had to remove forcing cone and thin down the leading edge of the taper. Easy enough job, just screw cone onto a M6 bolt, spin in electric drill and re-profile with a file. Worked great then. I was disappointed as at the price I paid I did not anticipate any difficulties, having said that they are the best quality guards I have found but in my opinion they are overpriced.

I bought these as they are meant to be compatible with a Suzuki gsx 1250 FA. Fitting them would have meant having to discard my bar end weights and risking the chance of vibrations being introduced to the handle bars. £58 down the tubes for me. Well enough made but not £58 worth. Wish I’d bought Suzuki ones, dearer but compatible while retaining the bar end weights. Another box that’ll lie in a cupboard for years 😡

As previous review pointed out, this item is not a straightforward fit, especially on BMW F800ST with heated handlebars. Made to fit with a bit of improvisation. The quality of the item appears quite good, although only time will have the final say. For the price they seem quite reasonable.

Actual guard is good quality. No instructions. Needed to remove lead weights in handlebar to fit it. It was not easy doing this and had to make a puller to do it. They hit the wing mirrors and fairing when positioned in the correct place. Therefore does not fit CBF1000. I will need to modify them so that they do not fit the wing mirrors.
