    Just the job for a 1970 V8.

    Bosch is a reliable brand and this battery was the size I needed. It's a car battery so as long as it 'does what it says on the tin' my interest won't extend beyond being pleased. Fits a Rover P6B perfectly in case you are wondering.

    Worth the extra cost

    This is a great quality battery which I've just fitted to my daughter's car. I still have the same model in my old Subaru and it's about 10 years old and still works perfectly. I had the old one checked out at National Tyres as they do a battery checking service (they're keen to sell you a new one!) and they said the battery was fine, despite being 10 years old. So highly recommended!

    Exact fit for Subaru Impreza

    This is an EXACT FIT in my Subaru Impreza 2008 (R), replacing the slightly-too-big Bosch 65 ah battery, which conked-out due to infrequent use of the car, a rather high parasitic drain, and negligent battery charging (by myself). Needs topping up with C-Tek charger at least twice a week...will install large Solar Panel into garage window to run thru 12-14.7 volt regulator semi-permanently into car to avoid struggling with 60ft arctic cable leads thru the letter box every few days!

    Doubtful quality.

    I bought one of these in 2011. In 2015 I came back to my car a few hours after a long run and the battery was flat. It was tested and found faulty and replaced. In February 2019 exactly the same thing happened. Both batteries were just 4 years old when they failed. Coincidence maybe, but not impressive.

    Reliable heavy duty battery.

    This Bosch range is ideal for older cars that do not get daily use. It replaces a Calcium battery that expired after 6 months on the car - voltage drop. May cost a bit more but will last the distance.
