    Light had a dead short

    Fitted this as a straight replacement but it immediately blew a fuse. Found there to be a dead short across the bulb whether it was in or out. The 'lighter' part works ok. I couldn't be bothered to return it and get another one after the time I'd spent so living with an un-illuminated socket.

    Good price, did not last.

    I bought it in May22 stopped working in Aug22, it worked initially, the cheapo one it replaced had done about two years, this one 3 months, was worried it was the box and not the switch but now bought a Lucas boxed one for £12 hoping it will last longer than this £6 version.
