    Bearings ok, seals poor fit

    It was impossible to fit the bearink kit with seals included. The seals prevented proper adjustment of the bearings as they rubbed against the bearing cage causing stiffness and inability to take up play at the same time. I trimmed the seals just to retain the steel washer, removing all the rubber and they were ok. Obviously this compromises water tightness, so will have to avoid directing a hose at the steering head in futuer
