Good for the money
Pretty good for the price. Colour between the two units is slightly different but not so much so it's obvious. One unit has some kind of sandy grit trapped inside it but it's only noticeable when right up close. I haven't bothered connecting up the halo wires as all I wanted was something brighter than the two candles fitted as standard to my Defender and these are perfect for that. I don't expect them to last forever for 30 quid but so far they've been good.Pretty good for the price. Colour between the two units is slightly different but not so much so it's obvious. Fitted to 2001 Defender TD5
Had a set of these for Christmas. Fitted them yesterday. They are truly excellent. Good build quality, and a perfect fit into Defender light fittings. The halo looks the biz especially when it changes into indicator mode. At night, they light up the road like it's daylight. A pure white, and very focused beam. Just a bit of advice. If you're fitting them onto a Defender with the dreaded dim/dip relay fitted. You'll have to bypass it. There's a really good video on u tube about it. The only thing wrong on the video is , they say you have to remove the instrument cluster to get to the relay. YOU DON'T ! Just pop out the drivers side under dash speaker, and the dim/dip relay will be just inside. 2 inches of 20amp wire and 2 spade connectors, and the relay is bypassed , and the lights will ... Hiya, just to say all is good. Not too difficult to fit or attach extra available wires for indicator and dlr/half halo side light. Overall surprised at quality build and construction. Solid especially for a 4x4 a must. Yet to find out night time illumination, but they look cool and all is working 👌
