    Tailgate strut Lexus GS300

    Ordered one of these, to see if did fit before ordering a second. First one fitted ok, so ordered a second. The second one had only been on a day and was fitted correctly, but popped off when boot was opened, so pushed it back on heard it click in place. But then as driving heard a bang, got home tried to open the boot and couldn't as the strut had pinged off again and had wedged the boot shout! Luckily after some tugging at the boot the top joint popped off to allowing me to open the boot. Ended up putting the old OE part back on that side.
