Son incidence est de 1/5000 individus. Le syndrome d'Alport est cliniquement et g n tiquement h t rog ne, le mode de transmission le plus fr quent tant le mode dominant li l'X. Il n'existe pas ce jour de traitement du syndrome d'Alport. Celui-ci repose sur une prise en charge de la n phropathie afin de repousser le plus tard possible le stade d'insuffisance r nale terminale et la greffe. Devant l'importance du traitement quant l' volution de la maladie, le pharmacien a donc un r le important vis- -vis des conseils pharmacologiques et di t tiques qu'il peut apporter au patient.
