Bought this on the basis of the good reviews. However it is not as good as market leading fires. The flame effect itself is realistic but is very detached from the illuminated logs which are located too forward, so overall it does not look realistic because the flames are BEHIND the logs rather than coming from the logs. The front facade glass is very shiny too which looks artifical. Its better than the very cheap rubbish, but this fire falls short of the better quality brands. Wall mounted electric fire
I bought this to replace a more traditional fire with surround as I am having a false fireplace wall built to house my TV and thought this would look perfect hanging below it. My project starts at end of September so no finished photos I'm afraid but I've opened the box and tested the fire out. It's super quiet and easy to use, great user friendly remote as well which my hubby will love as he won't need to move off the sofa to turn on or off. Gives out a great heat as well. All in all I would recommend this fire to anyone. I'll add photos later when it's all done if I can go back later.
