It works well enough, but you can count on providing your own elbow grease if you want to grind enough to brew a ten cup pot of Cuban style strong black drip coffee ☕! But I would take it camping in the woods where electricity isn't available, because if you are like me in wanting a pot of good black coffee as much as the air you are breathing when you wake up in the morning, you will keep on grinding until you have enough coffee for a good strong pot!

I made the mistake of thinking this was the same as the one I saw on Amazon, This is a clone with a cheap burr. The one on amazon uses a black ceramic burr which is a smoother, harder ceramic material. This is made with some very poorly crafted white ceramic, that has a rough surface. One clear distinction is the Amazon model will do Turkish Style Coffee, this one leaves an inconsistent grind with a very large range of coffee grains. It was cheap, I will give it that, and it works to grind coffee that would be acceptable for many forms of coffee, but the burr that floats in the center isn't aligned properly so it created very poor consistency with the grind. At this price my expectations weren't very high to begin with so I'm not surprised. I'll still use it to do other coffee grinds, just not Turkish. But my final thoughts are that I would have returned this but the cost to ship it back would be too expensive to bother. The higher quality one is just about twice the price of this one and in hindsight I would have rather put this money toward a better grinder.Read full review

The grinder works reasonably well, but the coffee is not ground uniformly, which is the point of a burr grinder. It looks like there's a bit of looseness in how the 2 sets of teeth align leading to the lack of uniformity. Depending on your use case this may or may not matter, but I'm a bit disappointed in the outcome.

This is a good product. I am happy with it and would buy it again. Grinding by hand is definitely harder than using an electric grinder, but I am able to use a cordless drill connected to the top of the grinder when I am in a hurry. The only weak spot in the general design and construction is that the plastic black knob on the handle came off immediately - the rivet holding it on had not been securely installed; if it had been, it would probably have worked fine. I fixed it easily with small nuts [2 locking together], a bolt [8x32 1.5"], and 2 washers. It will not be a problem again.

Arrived as advertised. Easy to use, haven't tried to clean it but that looks like it would be annoying as the unit is pretty small. I use it to grind espresso for a 2 cup coffee maker. Filing it with beans gives me just the right amount of ground coffee. I like the rubber handle holder, makes it easy to keep the handle together with the unit, and the whole thing fits easily in a drawer. The instructions are a little rough on translation value. Not sure why it seems impossible to get English instructions that are understandable by fluent reader. My impression of the manual is someone saved money by getting a kid who thinks they know English to translate it, and then didn't bother getting it sidechecked. LOL. But easy enough to figure out just by looking at the unit and gleaning a couple important points from the manual.Read full review
