This USB wi-fi adapter works well and seems better made than many I've seen. It has a USB2 connection, so it can't be as fast as newer USB3 types, but for my old PC it does the job perfectly well.

This is NOT USB 3.0 device. This is over 12 years old USB 2.0, device with max connectivity speed of 87Mbps. It is really not OK to falsely advertise a device and its capabilities. I cannot comprehend why would anyone leave positive review, except that they did not know what they were talking about or it is not a legitimate and honest review. A simple query against this device with any USB info tool reveals that this is USB 2.0 bus device, with no USB 3.0 extensions, with max Full and High Speed IO. I wonder if a chip reporting of Realtek 8812BU installed is real or has it also been altered in some fashion or another. If you set the device to a/ac/n band the device cannot connect to 5GHz router or any other 5GHz (a/ac/n) device. You are limited to outdated b/g/n mode (with n being draft) and that is all. Sorry folks, but you have wasted money as I have if you had purchased this dongle. Read full review

It worked straight away with easy setup and works better than my laptop built in wifi. My only doubt will be how long this product will last. I have had a number of wifi dongles and they never seem to last more than 3 years. Let's hope this one is different.

This replaces an expensive similar product. However, unlike the previous product, this works fine. It was easy to install and so far has never let me down. I think the reall issue is Windows 10 but this works fine with it and I am so pleased with it.

I bought this to replace a much more expensive one which failed and it is just as good, easy to set up as Windows now automatically does the work and there is also a CD included if you don't already have it in your device list, good strong signal and a good connection speed.
