    Review of my new Draper soldering gun

    The item is actually very much what I expected, having used a similar product for some years. It is easy to use and to hold. However, the warning makes clear that the power should not be applied for more that 12 seconds in any one minute. The problem being that, initially, it takes longer than 12 seconds to melt the solder Fortunately, any subsequent applications of solder to joint requires less than 12 seconds. Other than the foregoing, this is an excellent product.
