500w Inverter that's got some power!
This is quite an impressive inverter for 500w and 1000w max power output it can run a lot more than what it says on the box, I already have a 2000w streetwise inverter for my Camper van which is installed permanently so I needed a small one for mobile use and when we get power cuts etc with my other leisure battery and this 500w version fitted the bill perfectly, it runs all my home accessories like my old crt television, hifi, Table lamp, Games Consoles with no problems, so now when we have power cuts which is always around Christmas I'm covered! Oh and it has a USB socket for charging phones etc, I have put it through its paces to see what it could power and surprisingly it ran my 700 watt microwave with no problems at all, the other thing I like about this inverter is the cooling fan ... Oh and it has a USB socket for charging phones etc, I have put it through its paces to see what it could power and surprisingly it ran my 700 watt microwave with no problems at all, the other thing I like about this inverter is the cooling fan is not on all the time when high current stuff is being used unlike my 2000w version which the fan goes on instantly at full speed which is quite loud when there is anything on that it over 250w this smaller inverter the fan comes on when the inverter reaches a certain temperature and cuts in then cuts out and only on for a matter of seconds so I do like that it's a lot quieter than my bigger version, also this smaller inverter doesn't seem to use as much juice as my 2000w version does to power the same stuff. Overall I'm really impressed with this, even the cables are handy with eyelet to battery clamp cables and good flexible wires too so easy to pack away, there is no cig lighter cables with this for obvious reasons what with current draw and all, if you want cig lighter cables then you need to go for the smaller inverter.
