Should have bought one before!
I now own two cars which have decent paintwork after years of owning ones with not great paint. My son bullied me into buying some car cleaning kit and keeping them nice.I hate cleaning cars ! I bought a clay bar kit ,a huge bundle of microfibre cloths and this mitt. He enjoyed spending my money. It was money well spent. I washed my wife’s C class with the mitt in preparation for the clay bar and used one of the microfibre cloths to dry it. What a revelation! The cloth was good,better than a chamois,but the mitt was brilliant,a pleasure to use.It held lots of water and made the job easy and quick. I couldn’t believe it. Better than the real thing
I have been using a wash mitt ln lieu of a sponge for many years now and have always used traditional sheepskin mitts. When my last one started to shed it's coat after several years of use I started to look for a replacement. After reading a comparison review of mitts on-line and being shocked at the price of 'decent' sheepskin mitts I decided to give the Kent 2 in 1 a try. The price was attractive but that is only a bonus because this thing is far better than a sheepskin one. It holds more water, it cleans better and the reverse bug shifter really works (especially useful at this time of the year). Highly recommended. Only negative is the mitt doesn’t fill with suds the way a sponge would, see myself having to use a lot more shampoo, still good quality though & piece of mind regarding limiting scratches & swirls.
