    Lovely product.

    After searching around for a windscreen water repellent and reading loads of revievews I decided upon purchasing some of this rainex in the UK. Great product. First of all I made sure my windscreen was squeeky clean by washing with snow foam and with a magic sponge. Proceeded to put on the rainex with a glass cloth. Clean to dry then buff off with another rain cloth. I left minutes in between buffing and repeated the process. The results were amazing. Lovely run off and clear vision when travelling. I found it worked well over speeds of 15 mph. I plan to top up the application whenever I wash the car or when going on a long journey or motorways. But please ensure before applying the your windscreen/ windows are completely clean and dirt free.

    Rain X water repelent spray.

    This product only works when you drive over 40-50 mph. At slower speed there's not enough wind to push the water away. It creates a thin film on the windscreen which prevent the wipers from working properly, thus, at slow speed, visibility actually decreases. It can also make the inside of the windscreen misty. I used this on all windows and side mirrors. Apart from the windscreen, it has no effect on the others. Strangely enough, the liquid smells a bit like cannabis; but that fades away shortly after being aplied. So unless you do over 80% of your miles on the motorway, I do NOT recommend this product.
