Used a cheap one of these type of design strippers for ages, with the adjuster on the back, used it all the time, never failed to amaze me how long it lasted and how good it was. Although still works, it has seen better days, so I thought I would buy a replacement for when it gives in.Tried several of these around the £5 mark, none of them as good as my worn out one, ranged from coming apart after a day, to not stripping any good, all went in the bin, I gave up hope that a quality pair of these no longer existed. A mate bought a pair of these round, try this. Making elecrical work fast
So, looking through my tools to find my automatic cable stripper I find them missing. Find that my son had used them for something they are not designed for. Cut a long story short, find identical on eBay. These are tried and tested, had for well over twenty years and had a big job for them. Rewiring all the pond and summer house electric, job done!
