I wanted this for a more wholistic exercise to supliment cyling both turbo and off road. Didn't want to invest in cancept 2 which seems to be seen as the RR of rowers, but wanted an air rower capable of giving me a run for my money! This ticks al the boxes and I'm still struggelling to come to terms with how hard it can be when you push. I can't fault the product for the work out I'm getting and the price I paid. Yes it is noisy but so is the trad mill and th turbo. I can only improve!

The product arrived ok and was easy to assemble. However on using it the poor design become apparent. The main issue is that you cannot put in a full rowing stroke. On the recovery part of the stroke the handle hits the fly wheel before you have fully recovered. This is a design flaw beyond a joke. did they not consult someone who rows when they designed this? The monitor is also v poor. It is unreadable when you are actually 'rowing'. At the end of a row I peer down and look at the distance I have rowed, and its close to world record pace! I have resorted to just using my heart rate monitor to judge how hard ia ma rowing. This is not a machine for a rower, at best it is a keep fit machine. Once the gyms re-open after covid I will be back on a Concept rower and this keep fit machine will be on eBay.Read full review

Sturdy construction, a good display and I get a good work out. Started on a low setting and worked up, overall I am happy with the product. Some assembly required

For the price it’s well made and good value. However, it’s self assembly and one part was missing. It is not resistance adjustable so it’s very difficult to maintain a tempo whilst increasing pull speed to generate greater resistance. I find it very hard to get my heart rate to a reasonable level. The range of travel is slightly limiting (I am 5’10”) and I can easily hit both end stops with a full pull - and I’m it a rower.

The assembly is straight forward, if you follow the instructions. It is a bit difficult to clip the return cord to the drive strap, on your own, but I managed it ok. No parts were missing and the digital display operated correctly. The rowing action is not as smooth as I would like. The drive chain “chatters” over the fan sprocket and the clip on the return cord often hits the counter sensor under the rowing rail. The noises give the impression something is about to fail although that has not happened. I use the rower on the concrete floor of my garage so It does not move around as it might on smooth flooring or carpet. The fan offers adequate resistance and increases if you row harder. I use the rower six times a week in conjunction with my cycle turbo trainer and they give me a good upper and lower workout.Read full review
