    Bargain Barrels

    These are not really fancy, but perfect for what I want although I will have to wait and see if the drainage works well. Otherwise, yes, they are a good product for a reasonable price and being cut length ways makes a difference to the usual half barrels.

    Look out for the glitter

    They arrived in good time and, looking at the pictures again, are as described but we expected them to look like wood and the gold finishing prevents that. They are also rather less substantial than we expected. However, they were considerably cheaper than other versions we looked at so I guess they are good value - and the quality is OK - for what they cost. We have filled them with compost and bulbs and they look as if they should be for at least a couple of seasons so we're not too concerned. Not sure I'd recommend them to any friends without making the above comments though!.

    Plastic Oak effect planters

    Very pleased overall, but feel that the description can be a little misleading. I was expecting wooden planters with an oak effect, but realised on receipt my mistake. Still very attractive and well made. Generally very happy.

    Half barrel planter

    Not too big , and easy to pick up when filled with soil. Remembering it’s plastic effect which people moan about when doing this feedback, I recommend them as good value for money, and good for an old person who many wish to move the planter which would be lighter than wooden or stone one . And £14.99 for 2 brilliant
