Seller Notes: “This is a rare Short Wheel base 4.2 manual with over drive 1970 model in willow green.It has only ... “This is a rare Short Wheel base 4.2 manual with over drive 1970 model in willow green.It has only covered 32k in 54 years.As a result when I bought it 3 years ago it underwent a year long recommission I purchased the car from a specialist importer. The car had lived with a Doctor in Africa (ultimately residing in South Africa) for 48 years, which meant that it was rust free although some bits had been bleached by the sun. That said the interior is so good I couldn’t bring myself to replace it with leather, even though I went as far as buying another interior for it.During the recommission the brakes were replaced; new callipers discs and pads, hoses as well as the master cylinder. Uses silicone brakes fluid now. Suspension was replaced with that of a series 3. Carbs were rebuilt and the troublesome cold start valve replaced with a modern system and the ignition was upgraded to electric as no one makes a decent condenser anymore.Both fuel tanks were refurbished and the system ov”
