Although it appeared to be useful it was not so good at dealing with wet soil. It made a hole but it was difficult to remove the wet soil to cover the bulb. A shame as I had hoped it would prevent me having to kneel down to plant bulbs. Maybe it would work better if the soil was dry.

Technique advice
Works well. My soil is heavy and so stamping this in didnt work.- twisting back and forth was the answer. Plug is difficult to remove but is forced out by the second plug and so on. Used it for 80 bulbs so far !

Easy to use
Easy to use, and less backache. Only difficulty is pushing soil back into the hole when soil is wet, heavy, or has clay. Use an old broom, or spade handle.
