My impression is that these zips will last forever, but more time is need to confirm this! Use a 100mm / 120mm needle and 80lb breaking strain nylon thread (400m reel). Excellent item and great value.

Good price for decent chunky No5 zip.Length is good coming in at 205cm, so 20mm extra is a little bonus.Can be shortened easily using some new top end stops if needed.Only wish I'd been able to find one longer or made to length required as a 260cm would've been perfect for my envelope sleeping bag project, but I can use one of these for the side & I've bought a 70cm for the bottom so will manage.
