    The Horse Boy

    This was a last minute buy on e bay. It arrived the next day , well-packed and was as new. I do like a nice clean book! It is the story of an Autistic boy whose father is a horse lover and trainer. He puts his 4yr old son on a horse for the first time and there is an instant rapport between horse and boy and an improvement in the boys condition The father hears about the healing work of Shamans and in particular the Reindeer people of outer Mongolia. He decides to take his son there and together with his wife and photographer friend they make a hazardous journey..... with amazing results. The descriptions of the places they visit, the horseback trek across Siberia, the beauty of the places and the kindness of the nomadic people combined with the courage and determination of the parents ...

    A parents love

    This is a story about 2 parents who go through a hard journey to get their son spiritual help. The child struggles to communicate with others. It shows how animals can communicate in ways that humans can't, in this case a horse. I loved this book and even bought one for one of my friends.
