Doesn't come with the surround, but with a bit of time, I got my old ones off and hot glued them on (quite easy actually as the glass sits in a ridge in the plastic surround) Connections are smaller (4.8mm rather than 6.3) so a minor modification needed) but for £12 each glass, it's not bad, as second hand originals are over £100. Nice chap to deal with when I asked him about the surround and we came to an agreement easily.

    But elsewhere

    The ad Isn’t very honest - It doesn’t mention that it’s supplied it with a black, fitted surround, the same as supplied by Jaguar, but it does show it fitted in the picture. It doesn’t come with a surround. I had to gently prise the surround off my old mirrors, I’ve glued them in place with the best glue I could find, I’ll have to hope they hold. The mirror also comes fitted with tiny 2.8mm electrical connectors, so I also had to fit smaller connectors to the car. Another small thing. The glass came wrapped in bubble-wrap, which had all stuck to the exposed back of the heater elements. Doesn’t seem to have shorted the elements out, but there’s not a lot of attention to a good sale for a firm that sells thousands of these mirrors. I’m just hoping that means I haven’t wasted my time and ...

    Fits XKR with slight alteration

    Nice quality. Bought to fit an XKR with self tint original mirrors. These items come without the thick plastic surround - you’ll need to remove them from original mirror glass then bond the old surround to these items. With a bit of patience they look perfect - use black silicone or polyeurethane sealant for best results. Way cheaper than the originals!

    All ok but not as per the picture on the listing ,it has no plastic surround and is slightly small with a sharp glass edge.
