    Caged Dog Guard

    Very adaptable for my wife’s new Touareg, however the plastic gripper clips are weak and bend when tightening leading to them disconnecting themselves where l needed to re-engineer. Also Velcro doesn’t seal very well.

    Missing parts

    Bought this item which is ok apart from it didn’t fit the car as it said it would and there was a major part missing from the box which had clearly been sent out before , returned to the supplier and then sent out to myself without being checked Not the products fault but the suppliers in this case , who couldn’t even reply to my email. We desperately needed a guard in the car so butchered the product to make it fit using some parts and tie wraps

    useful and suits the brief

    The product was a bit fiddly to put together, but once in place it seems good. The adjustment in size is very useful. For my polo it almost doesn't need the extensions, but good to have the options for a bigger car.

    Not robust enough - wonder how long it will last since it needed repair and modification within days of being installed.

    Plastic hooks used to attach guard to headrest too weak, both broke within days. Knobs for tightening hooks made from weak plastic material. Dog chewed one right off in seconds. Now that I have made metal hooks to replace plastic ones I will give it another chance to do its job.

    Great dog guard, great price, good delivery sevice.

    Great product, easy to fit and really did the job. It was for a small Honda Civic, my two dogs are always on lead, but the possibility of them jumping into the back seat was increasing. So, this barrier was perfect, I did not even need the side wings to be attached, fitted in 2 minutes, rare with flat pack challenges, so yes, very good indeed, maybe 4 Minutes.
