    WARNING - no breather valve causing vehicle breakdown.

    No breather valve which is essential for earlier Vaux diesels. Caused a fuel lockout situation rendering the vehicle immobile and requiring recovery. On investigation the fuel system had a vacuum caused by this fuel cap. On genuine fuel caps there is "ventilated" printed on the plastic. If yours has this do NOT use this replacement. I didn't believe the garage at first, so reproduced myself the next day on long journey - fuel lock out, but this time caused the fuel level sensnor to "stick" up in the vacuum, and the van ran out of fuel (despite the gauge being half full). The moment i released the fuel cap (and pressure build up) the fuel gauge dropped to zero - and a long walk to the petrol station. No issues since i went back to the genuine ventilated version from vauxhall dealers.
