The mini R50 has a known problem with power steering pumps. If I bought a 2nd hand pump it could be a problem waiting to happen. I’m glad I went with the refurbished pump. Hi I had my power steering pump reconditioned came very well packaged and looking brand new after I had it fitted it would only work on a cold start and after restarting engine after drive it would go stiff. I explained this with someone called Leon who then sent me out another unit which is working perfectly. Would highly recommend this professional and genuine company.
