brilliant but with a small issue
absolutely perfect i broke down an hour from home fortunately in a relatively safe place and had to get a bus home, back and forth to sort the problem for one i only required the water manifold that comes off the rear of the cylinder head (right side of engine) the part that houses the temperature sensor, mine was an original plastic type that had not only split from years of abuse, but the rubber O ring had also swollen to near twice its size and pushed out so a replacement was a dead cert i looked on line a did find an original type in the US of all places, £25 and near as much to get here, so no thanks to that, then i find this amazing set, as i say i only required the main manifold and not the other parts, it didn't occur i would receive the lot, and i still need to work out where ... absolutely perfect i broke down an hour from home fortunately in a relatively safe place and had to get a bus home, back and forth to sort the problem for one i only required the water manifold that comes off the rear of the cylinder head (right side of engine) the part that houses the temperature sensor, mine was an original plastic type that had not only split from years of abuse, but the rubber O ring had also swollen to near twice its size and pushed out so a replacement was a dead cert i looked on line a did find an original type in the US of all places, £25 and near as much to get here, so no thanks to that, then i find this amazing set, as i say i only required the main manifold and not the other parts, it didn't occur i would receive the lot, and i still need to work out where the rest go at some later point, so great price for the part and the extras anyway, i fitted the part in quick time, sensor fitted with its little plastic horse shoe clip and topped up with clean water, and ran the engine, soon to find water gushing from around the sensor, more drama i thought, now i had already checked the two were precisely the same, that the sensor fitted, but it seems that if you like me are using the original sensor and seal, the seal might be too squashed to fit, leaving the sensor loose in the housing, the only remedy was to fit a couple of cable ties which i fortunately had in the back of the car, join too together as mine were short, phew, cross fit them over the top of the electrical connector crossing each other to the opposite side below the hose and hope it did the job, it did, and i was able to continue last weeks journey back home and quiet lucky not to have to do another hours trip on a bus, cheap at only £2, but over an hour to do 15 miles there seems to be nothing wrong with the parts, they are perfect and even better that they are cast in aluminium, but i would advise get another sensor, it wouldn't hurt anyway and you may find the new seal works better than an old one, but do carry some cable ties just in case, you can never have enough cable ties, keep them wheels turning
