    Astra cruise control and clurch switch.

    Easy to fit, use an unwound paper clip. Look at the new item, you will see a groove along the side of the stalk. Slide the paper clip along the groove of the old stalk to unlatch the clip and simply pull out. The new stalk slides back in easily. Clutch switch a bit fiddly. I found it easier to remove the trim under the steering wheel for access although more supple folk may not need to. I used a piece of wood against the drivers seat to hold the clutch podal down. Make sure the red section of the switch is pulled fully foward to allow the switch retaining clips to move while fitting. Once fitted slide the red section back, it will ratchet into place.

    Astra h..mk5 cruise control stalk

    This stalk was easy to fit and only took approx 3 minutes to install. I looked on YouTube to find an installation video. It's so easy to install the clutch switch too..but many Astra mk5 have them fitted already. It's simple to operate by pressing the top button to turn on when reaching the desired cruise speed then pressing the O button or brake/clutch pedal to turn off.
