In-Car Headphones

Vehicle Headphones

There are many reasons why you might want to purchase a set of vehicle headphones. Perhaps you're sick of hearing your children's cartoons singing, or the constant beeping of a computer game from the backseat.

Or maybe you want to be able to offer your passengers a means of watching their favourite films or catching up on the latest TV box sets.

You may even take part in motorsports events and want to have a suitable headphone and microphone combination set for communicating with the other people in the car over the noise of the engine.

Whatever the reason, you'll find there are a wide range of types of headphones available that can be worn in your car or other type of vehicle.

Many of the sets of headphones available are supplied by household name brands. While others are from lesser known brands, but are still perfectly usable and good quality.

Some types of vehicle headphones

Traditional wired headphones are the type that fit into an input jack socket on your CD player, DVD player , TV set or radio. These will require a sufficiently long cable to be able to attach to the machine you want to listen to, though you'll want to make sure they aren't too long so they can get caught up in the handbrake or other elements of your vehicle.

Wireless headphones allow the sound to be transmitted to them without them having to be plugged in. You should ensure your device is equipped to handle wireless technology. Or there are some versions available where you plug a special jack into the device to convert it to a wireless machine.

Motorsports headphones allow you to blot out the noise of the engine enough to be able to communicate with your driver through their in built microphone. Something you'll want to use if you're involved with vehicle racing in any form.
