Connection to Chromecast Audio 3.5 mm optical port does not feel solid, there is no positive locking feeling as with many other cable types. Not sure if this is a problem with this cable, the CCA, or if it is the same with all 3.5 mm mini optical connections. Either way, once pushed in as far as possible it does stay in place (although it wouldn't take much force to remove the connector), and most of all it does the job it is made for. Cable feels a little thin and flimsy, and feels like it wouldn't take much to bend it too far. For the price, i am happy though.
