I bought this camera because the one I had was really low priced and made a low quality picture. I wanted to upgrade some, but I couldn't afford much more than what I had. I bought this camera on ebay for a great price. It does make a better picture than my old camera, but still isn't very good on close-ups (they're fuzzy). It has a lot of settings like zoom and to offset problems like shaking and so on, but they are a little cumbersome to set and really eat up the batteries. It doesn't come with a manual-you have to download it which is fairly easy to do. The manual is straight forward and pretty easy to understand. Camera has many detailed features for various photographing. The timer is nice so we can all get in a group photo. It did not come with a memory card, but the $10 type fit just fine. Listed at $13 less than retail, the price was right! Quite similar to my old $200 Sony in function, but this for $26 won't feel like a waste of money when it gets broken by one of my kids!
