Perfect bedtime book.
I bought this book for my 9 month old daughter. I remembered that my son loved this book when I got it for him in 1991, when he was just 1 year old. He is so tickled that his baby sister enjoys it just as much as he did when he was a toddler. She seems to know its time for bed when we read this book. Of course, i read it several times a night before she will settle down! This book is so sturdy. I don't let her play with it during the day but I do let her tote it around in the evening, just so she associates bedtime with it. My favorite kids book
Put my son and daughter to sleep with this book for years. We would plays games with it, once they leaned it. I would put my finger over something on the next page and say oh look the cat is not here tonight. Fond memories.
